Horizontal boring machine FCW
New machine type series with a sliding spindle represents the state-of-the-art design solution in its class. The slide deflection when extended from the spindle is automatically compensated. The travel in axes X, Y and Z is facilitated by compact rolling-contact guides ensuring excellent dynamic properties and positioning precision. Hydrostatic guides in axis X can be provided on customer’s request. The customer-specific NC system can provide for various advanced machine functions such as automated tool exchange, automated accessory selection and replacement, measuring probes to monitor the condition of the workpiece and tool, tool load, fracture and operational lifetime checking. The modular design of the machine allows for flexible changes in the work-station configuration.
