Hot cutting
Hot cutting completes the Farina Presse hot steel forging range.
Heavy-duty with high productivity, it improves line operations reducing material handling.
The production range varies according to the size of the pieces to be processed:
– round ● (upØ 300 mm )
– billets ■ (up 250×250 mm)
Farina Presse hot cutting can be used to cut “special” materials that cannot be cold cut.

Mechanical hands and anthropomorphous robots
High productivity and improved work quality. Mechanical hands are robust and reliable, easy to use and can be run in both automatic mode or directly by the operator.
Mechanical hands are used to load or unload pieces in the press:
– pieces are generally picked from a conveyor belt and placed in the forging area;
– forged pieces are picked from the work area and unloaded where necessary;
– they can be fixed or rotating, with 2 or 3 axes, with capacity up to 500 kg driven by Brushless motors.
Installed in large power presses, they increase production by up to 35%..
Mechanical hands help the operator who manually handles production pieces.

Transfer presses
Fully automated highly flexible presses are considered the maximum expression of hot forging automation. If well calibrated, transfer presses can increase production capacity 100% higher than classic presses.
The transfer moves pieces in the press directly to the work area and can be run in automatic or manual mode:
– in automatic with transfer on for large lot production;
– in manual with transfer released and placed outside the press for small lot production.

Complete lines
– maximum line layout customisation and flexibility;
– assistance in the choice and construction of the tools required to complete the production line;
– construction of control systems to optimise line yield.
Lines can be made to run in manual, semi-automatic or automatic mode with mechanical hands and robots and automatic transfer.
The differences between these lines are based on performance which must be assessed according to customer need. The choice of the best solution is studied, personalised and created.
After internal assembly, the line is cold inspected at the Farina Presse factory.
After final external installation, the line is hot inspected on the customer’s premises.
